European Parliament:

Members of the Committees, Subcommittees and the Delegations:
Edward CZESAK (ECR, PL) joined the Delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly (D-ACP).

Auke ZIJLSTRA (ENF, NL) joined the Committee on Budgets (BUDG).

David COBURN (EFDD, UK) joined the Special Committee on Tax Rulings and Other Measures Similar in Nature or Effect (TAXE).

Substitutes of the Committees, Subcommittees and the Delegations:
Paolo DE CASTRO (S&D, IT) left the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) and joined the Delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly (D-LAT).

Daciana Octavia SÂRBU (S&D, RO) joined the Committee on Fisheries (PECH).

António MARINHO E PINTO (ALDE, NL) left the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM) and joined the Committee on Culture and Education (CULT).

Juan Carlos GIRAUTA VIDAL (ALDE, ES) left the Committee on Culture and Education (CULT) and joined the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM).

Auke ZIJLSTRA (ENF, NL) joined the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE).

Patrick O'FLYNN (EFDD, UK) switched from member of the Special Committee on Tax Rulings and Other Measures Similar in Nature or Effect (TAXE) to substitute.

National parties:
Renate WEBER (ALDE, RO) left the National Liberal Party (PNL) and became independent.

Sofia SAKORAFA (GUE/NGL, EL) left Syriza and became independent.  

Rapporteurs:
Sajjad KARIM (ECR, UK) re-appointed rapporteur on the 2014 report on subsidiary and proportionality.

Ian DUNCAN (ECR, UK) appointed rapporteur on the Emissions Trading Scheme.

 

European Commission:

Directorate Generals:
Communication (COMM) – Directorate C: Ierotheos PAPADOPOULOS is the new Head of Citizens Information Unit, replacing Morten ESPELUND.

Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (EMPL) – Directorate B: Francisco Jesùs ALVAREZ HIDALGO is the new acting Head of Health, Safety and Hygiene at Work Unit, replacing Maria-Teresa MOITINHO DE ALMEIDA.

 

Council of the European Union:

General Secretariat:
Legal Service: Jürgen HUBER left his position as Social Affairs, Energy, Research, Telecom Director.

 

Committee of the Regions:

Alternates:
Emilio DEL RÍO SANZ (EPP, ES) left his positon.

 

European Agencies:

European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP) – Governing Board: The term of office of the members expired on 17 September.

 

Court of Justice:

Michail VILARAS (EL) and Eugene REGAN (IE) were appointed as judges and Camelia TOADER (RO) and Marko ILEŠIČ (SI) were re-appointed as judges of the for a new six year term. All appointments apply to a term of office from 7 October 2015 to 6 October 2021.

 

General Court:

Ian Stewart FORRESTER (UK) appointed as judge to the General Court, replacing Nicholas FORWOOD from 1 October 2015 to 31 August 2019.
Juraj SCHWARCZ (SK) and Heikki KANNINEN (FI) appointed as judges to the General Court from 1 September 2016 to 31 August 2022.

 

Public affairs:

European Wind Energy Association (EWEA): Giles DICKSON appointed as the new Chief Officer, succeeding Malgosia BARTOSIK (acting).

EDSO for Smart Grids: Victoria GERUS appointed as Communications & Project Officer on 1 September, replacing Joana ABREU JACKSON.
