MEPs have backed the appointment of Hungarian EPP group deputy Ildikó Gáll-Pelcz as a member of the European Court of Auditors by 326 votes, to 126, with 193 abstentions. The appointment now needs to be approved by the EU Council. Gáll-Pelcz has been an MEP since 2010 and a Parliament Vice-President since 2014.
