UKIP leader Paul Nuttall is the latest British MEP to throw his hat in the ring for the UK’s upcoming general election. He announced his candidacy on Thursday 27 April, ending speculation that he would not run. However, he has not yet announced where he will stand. Back in February he was defeated by Labour’s Gareth Snell in the Stoke by-election.
