France
Emmanuel Macron has been re-elected as the President, defeating Marine Le Pen.

Slovenia
Robert Golob, the leader of the Freedom Movement party, is the winner of Slovenia’s weekend parliamentary election and will replace Janez Jansa, the Prime Minister. Golob’s party is expected to form a coalition government with two center-left parties: the Social Democrats and the Left. He hopes to have formed a new government by mid-June.
